Communications Strategist and Leadership Expert
This is the Ryan Abramson Official Page - Ryan is an established marketing and communications expert. His career, spanning over two decades, has been dedicated to elevating the visibility and operations of small businesses, nonprofits, and professional entities. He is the entrepreneurial force behind Oakridge Leaders, a consultancy based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, where he tailors strategies to foster growth through nuanced marketing, adept content creation, and comprehensive digital media management. His work is also deeply infused with a commitment to promoting diversity and providing mentorship.
When you first meet me, you’ll probably notice I’m not your typical marketing and communications guy. Sure, I know the tools, the strategies, the platforms—but what really drives me is helping people find their voice. Whether that’s a business trying to stand out online, a nonprofit looking to make an impact, or a leader gearing up for their next big keynote—I’m here for it.

My story starts in the great city of Philadelphia (go Birds!), where I was born and raised before heading down to D.C. to study English at The Catholic University of America. I couldn’t resist throwing in Philosophy and Religion as minors—I like to think big and ask "why" a lot. During college, I landed a life-changing internship in the U.S. Senate that taught me the real power of words, messaging, and timing. That’s where the communications spark truly lit.

But theory wasn’t enough for me—I needed boots-on-the-ground experience. I earned my Master’s in Education at LaSalle University back in Philly and spent more than 20 years in the world of marketing. I helped drive change through data-driven campaigns, launched full-scale video production operations before it was cool, and built social media strategies that actually worked. I also worked hard to make education more inclusive, leading efforts that doubled enrollment for students of color and connected schools with underrepresented communities.

In 2001, I decided it was time to bet on myself and launched Oakridge Leaders, my own Langhorne-based communications consultancy. We help small businesses, nonprofits, and leaders build their brands from the inside out—SEO, content strategy, web development, public speaking coaching, social media, you name it. If it involves storytelling and strategy, I’m all in.

My favorite tools? Let’s just say I can build you something beautiful in Canva, get your site running on Wix, optimize it for Google, manage campaigns in Mailchimp, and track it all in HubSpot—all before my first cup of coffee (which, by the way, is always strong).
And speaking of stories—I live for them. I ghostwrite speeches, blog posts, social bios, even award nominations. I’ve helped executives and athletes alike own the room and make an impact, whether it's on a stage or in a Zoom meeting.

In 2025, one of my top media features came from Pennsylvania’s ABC27, which was pretty awesome. But honestly, I’m just as proud of my daily work on Instagram, where I get to mix business, branding, and the regular foodie pic or airplane window shot. (Yes, I’m that guy.)

Outside of work? Oh, I travel. A lot. I’m a self-proclaimed points and miles guru—I can build a multi-city itinerary in my sleep and I love showing others how to do the same. I blog about my adventures, post travel guides, and find those hidden gem restaurants that never make it to Yelp but totally should. And when I’m not flying, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen trying out something I saw on the Food Network (or at least pretending I know what I’m doing).

At the end of the day, everything I do comes back to this: helping people share their truth in a meaningful, powerful, and authentic way. Whether you’re looking for visibility, clarity, or just that one idea to break through the noise—I’ve got your back.
